Overview All animals in Belverra have a Health stat that reflects their physical condition and affects their ability to train and compete. Keeping up with routine care is the most important thing you can do to keep your animals performing well.

Horses Horses have both a Health and a Stress stat. Preventive care services — farrier, deworming, dental, vaccination, and wellness exam — are due on a recurring schedule. Overdue care causes health to decay and caps recovery until the service is completed. Farrier care is the most time-sensitive.

Horses can also sustain injuries (minor, moderate, or severe) and become stressed from overtraining and competition. Both conditions affect performance and resolve over time, with treatment options available to speed recovery. Injured or highly stressed horses cannot compete until sufficiently recovered.

Dogs Dogs require four recurring preventive care services: vaccination, deworming, wellness exam, and grooming. As with horses, overdue care will cause health to decay and cap recovery until the service is completed.
